  Viva Las VeGrass mission

Is to give the best bluegrass entertainment in a natural environment right in the heart of Vegas. Craig Ranch itself recycled from a cattle ranch, golf course and now considered the jewel of the Nevada Parks System set on 172 acres of grass, old growth trees, lakes and more.

And speaking of the environment,  Viva Las VeGrass celebrates and promotes. The best ideas in sustainability, renewable energy, recycling, conservation, and green initiatives from our sponsor partners. They are leading our community in creating successful green programs and ideas.

From their sponsors, musicians, food trucks, artists and crafts vendors and volunteers, we are about keeping our planet clean and healthy for the next generation of bluegrass fans.

Viva Las VeGrass The Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Society (SNBMS) is celebrating its 42nd anniversary this year. SNBMS is committed to the preservation and promotion of bluegrass music. While the Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Society hosted one of the first bluegrass festivals in the west from 1988 until 2007, it is now that they bring bluegrass to Las Vegas on a major scale. SNBMS believes that since our music is traditionally acoustic and thus “solar powered,”  we feel it is only fitting to include local partners that are leading the way on renewable energy, conservation, recycling, sustainability and more in our community.
